Jet fusion printer enhances MTC's 3D printing capability
After it became the first centre in the country to install HP’s latest 3D printer, the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) will continue to drive the additive manufacturing revolution in the United Kingdom. The Coventry-based centre has added the new HP Jet Fusion 4200 to its extensive additive manufacturing armoury, which has been supplied by Europac 3D.
Self-contained robot cell provides flexible development platform
An entry-level solution to industrial robotics has been developed by Loop Technology, borne from the realisation of a recent project for the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). The MTC, based in Coventry, asked Loop Technology, a member of the MTC and a long-term supplier, to design a self-contained robot cell capable of providing a flexible development and demonstration platform with capability for future expansion.
Four-year additive manufacturing project results to be unveiled

Speaker for the Digitalising Manufacturing Conference announced
Juergen Maier will be the headline speaker at this year’s enhanced Digitalising Manufacturing Conference at the Manufacturing Technology Centre. The conference, now in its third year, has also expanded to two days and will be held at the MTC’s facility near Coventry on 30th October and 31st October.
