High performance STEMlab with faster real-time processing
Red Pitaya has launched a high-end STEMlab platform to join its successful STEMlab-125 development boards. STEMlab is a test and measurement environment designed to provide a low-cost alternative to many expensive measurement and control instruments.
Open-source platform takes in high-end instrumentation
Low cost, open-source, reconfigurable instrumentation received a boost at embedded world in Nuremberg when Red Pitaya launched an uprated version of its credit-card sized STEMlab product that is tailored for HF+50MHz SDR (Software-Defined Radio)and RF applications that require DAQ systems with higher precision.
STEMlab selected for dense network of dual-mission HF radars
Red Pitaya has announced that its STEMlab test and measurement solution has been selected for high resolution radar/broadband data processing in a new dense network of dual-mission HF radars costing only $300 proposed by the well respected Electrical and Computer Engineering Professor, geospace scientist, and expert in remote sensing hardware/software, Michael Hirsch, Ph.D., from Boston, MA, USA.
STEMlab recruited to test radar warning system
A consortium including members from a major European research organisation, two German universities and industry, is using Red Pitaya’s STEMlab to perform waveform synthesis, IF signal sampling & signal processing on a new radar warning and information system for applications in disaster management (RAWIS) that is under development.
Instrumentation Technologies acquires Red Pitaya
Outstanding shares in Red Pitaya, pioneers in low-cost, open-source, reconfigurable instrumentation with its credit-card-sized STEMlab platform have been acquired by Instrumentation Technologies, an instrumentation supplier which primarily services the accelerator beam diagnostics market.
Open-source instrumentation heads to Nuremberg
Red Pitaya will partner with its German distributor, Trenz at embedded world in Nuremberg (February 27-March 1) to showcase the STEMlab credit-card-sized multi-function, open-source, and reconfigurable instrumentation. STEMlab is a test and measurement environment that includes a board, an application marketplace and a source code library, all of which foster collaboration and ultimately unleash the inventiveness of users.
VNA joins open-source instrumentation family
A VNA new bridge module and application that enables STEMLab to function an affordable vector network analyser (VNA) has been released by Red Pitaya, the company that is pioneering the move to low cost, open-source, reconfigurable instrumentation with its credit-card-sized STEMlab platform.
The Swiss Army Knife for engineers
It might not be able to take the stones out of horses’ hooves, but after a chat with Red Pitaya’s CEO Rok Mesar, you can certainly see why the Slovenia-based company’s STEMLab module has the moniker ‘the Swiss Army Knife for engineers’ – due to the portability, flexibility and affordability it provides design engineers.
