For the first time since EtherCAT was introduced 20 years ago, the EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) is publishing node figures. 

More than 1,100 specialists in space technology gathered in Las Vegas at the end of October for the ASCEND conference of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Spaceflight is in the midst of a transformation from government funded research and national prestige projects into a commercially successful field of business.

EtherCAT Technology Group has announced its involvement at on-site events as well as the lockdown-friendly events that it was involved in during 2020 and 2021.

Recently, the 20th meeting of the Semiconductor Technical Working Group of the EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG), the so-called TWG Semi, took place. The digital meeting provided time not only for work, but also celebration. After all, it has been 10 years since the working group launched at an official kick-off meeting.

  Founded in 2003, in Nuremberg, Germany, the world headquarters of the EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) has since grown into a global phenomenon. ETG maintains regional offices in four other countries.
