Field-deployable computing platform is rugged and reliable

PXIe backplane for test and measurement applications

Designed to meet the PXI Express Hardware Specification Revision 1.0 (with X1 PCIe connections), Elma Bustronic unveil a 3U 17-slot backplane. The PXIe backplane features one system slot controller and one timing controller slot as well as 15 peripheral slots, each with a PCIe Gen 1 1X lane to the controller.

Elma Electronic announce the appointment of Fred Ruegg as the new CEO effective September 1st, 2013. Fred succeeds Stephan Buergin, who died in a fatal accident at the end of June 2013. Elma moves to new 30,000 sq. ft. green field facility
