Avnet Silica’s stand at embedded world in Nuremberg (February 25-27) will feature demos focused around two areas: the first zone concentrates on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies and applications; and a second more-wide-ranging zone covers a suite of important technology areas including connectivity, sensing, security, power, memory and software and services.

A family of eUICC products serving the industrial IoT market connecting on 2G/3G/4G and LTE-M cellular networks has been introduced by Avnet Silica. It has been announced that Avnet Silica will exhibit at this year’s embedded world, to be held at the Messe Nuremberg, Germany 26th to 28th February, 2019. At this year’s electronica trade fair, Avnet Silica, an Avnet company, will participate as part of the joint Avnet EMEA presence located in Hall C5, Stand 101. A series of advanced technology demonstrations, in conjunction with two of its leading suppliers, Xilinx and ON Semiconductor, will be centre stage for Avnet Silica at Vision 2018 in Stuttgart (November 6-8). It has been announced that Avnet Silica has received the ‘Distributor of the Year’ award from Nordic Semiconductor ASA, a fabless semiconductor company specialising in ultra-low power (ULP) and low power wireless communication. The NB-IoT Sensor Shield is compatible with the Arduino UNO R3 connector layout and is a multi-mode connectivity board that supports both the LTE Cat M1 and NarrowBand-IoT (LTE Cat.NB) air interfaces.
