John Vickers has been in the electronics industry for nearly 20 years with the last 15 years at Advanced Rework Technology Ltd.
John is a Master IPC Trainer who sits on a large number of IPC and other industry committees, including IPC European committees for Standards Development and Training and global IPC Standards Development and Training to name a few.
With his Master IPC Trainer status for IPC 6012, 610, 620, 7711/21 and J-STD 001, 6012 is an expert in the field of fabrication, assembly, process and acceptance of board and cable assemblies. Being able to train to all IPC training programmes allows for John and Advanced Rework Technology Ltd to support all areas of the industry from commercial, communications through to military, medical, aviation and aerospace with not only their training requirements but also consultancy needs.
John uses his extensive knowledge of the electronics industry to ensure the training courses offered to the industry are a step above the rest as his extensive committee work enables him to pass on changes to training programmes and standards but most importantly, why the changes are made.
To ensure that John and the team offer the best service to the industry he works closely with his team and customers to generate bespoke training programmes that can be customised to meet the needs of each individual customer as well as quality and inspection plans, material and process reports and auditing services.
