The M3000 development board included in the kit interfaces with IAR Embedded Workbench to make it simple for developers to develop applications and add firmware to the M3000 device. The development board features pre-installed I/O and communications hardware, and also includes an H-Bridge step motor driver delivering 0 – 4A peak output.
IAR Embedded Workbench provides an intuitive user interface for writing code and debugging M3000 applications. IAR Embedded Workbench features a C/C++ compiler and C-SPY™ debugger, assembler, and project manager. The Developer’s Kit includes a complimentary 30-day fully functional evaluation version of IAR Embedded Workbench that requires only a simple registration process to obtain a licence key.
Russ Gibas, Engineering Manager of System Semiconductor commented, “This partnership with IAR Systems enables us to provide the users of our Developer’s Kit with high quality tools to achieve maximum benefit from the capabilities of the M3000.”
“System Semiconductor has demonstrated a high level of commitment to supplying application-specific products that reduce component count while increasing performance, and we are very pleased that they have selected IAR Systems as their key partner for this new kit,” added Andreas Lifvendahl, Sales and Marketing Director of IAR Systems.
