Desk-Top Mini UPS will power routers for up to 2 hours

Powersolve announces the PUPS44-12 ‘mini’ UPS that provides a 12VDC output in the event of an AC mains failure. The compact, desk-top UPS works from a 12VDC input using any approved 12V AC/DC capable of powering the load with enough output power to charge the internal batteries. Powersolve’s ESA36-12 is a good example.

According to Powersolve, the PUPS44-12 is suitable for powering networking devices such as routers and other low power devices. The UPS incorporates Lithium Ion cells to provide an output capacity of 44.4W hours and a maximum output current of 2A. The PUPS44-12 will provide battery back-up for up to two hours depending on the load.

The ‘Mini’ UPS uses a constant current/constant voltage, trickle charge battery management system with other features including discharge voltage protection and protection against charging over-voltage and input over-current. LEDs indicate charging and charged states.

Powersolve can supply a variety of input and output cable assemblies to suit most applications. The PUPS44-12 measures 112x61x43mm.
