EMC measurement expertise on parade at EMV 2016

Expertise in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) measurements will be central to Rohde & Schwarz’s participation at EMV 2016 in Düsseldorf. The company’s portfolio includes EMI compliance and precompliance test receivers, highly sophisticated, harmonised system solutions, associated analysis software and broadband amplifiers.

Rohde & Schwarz will focus on a brand new EMI test receiver. The instrument with the greatest dynamic range and level accuracy on the market will be presented to the public for the first time. Rohde & Schwarz developed the EMI test receiver specifically for demanding certification and R&D measurements in the A&D sector and automotive industry.

Also on display is the tried and trusted EMI test receivers of the R&S ESR series in the frequency ranges from 9kHz to 3.6GHz/7 GHz/26. GHz, which are ideal for performing disturbance measurements in just a few seconds for standard compliant EMC certifications.

The standardised CEMS100 test platform is a flexible, reliable off the shelf solution for radiated EMS measurements in line with IEC / EN 61000-4-3.

R&S Advise (automated video inspection system for EMC) is a video based system for monitoring DUT reactions in automated EMC test environments. R&S AdVISE can complement an R&S EMC32 software based EMS system or operate as a standalone solution.

The R&S BBL200 and R&S BBA150 from its broadband amplifier family. These instruments cover power levels from 15W to 10kW in the frequency range from 9kHz to 6GHz.

The Spectrum Rider is a new handheld spectrum analyser with long battery life. This user friendly solution offers solid RF performance and good accuracy for measurements in the field and lab. Depending on requirements, a keycode can extend its frequency range from the standard 5kHz to 2GHz up to 4GHz.
