The compact, surface mount MLC75xx Series measures just 7.0×7.5×4.2mm. Coilcraft offers the series in seven inductance values ranging from 0.10 to 2.17µH. MLC75xx Series inductors feature RoHS compliant tin-silver (96.5/3.5) over copper terminations and offer a maximum reflow temperature of 260°C. They are also constructed of materials that are not subject to thermal aging issues associated with other iron powder core inductors.
Inductors’ soft saturation characteristics suit VRM & VRD
Coilcraft has announced its MLC75xx series of shielded, high-current power inductors, offering Isat ratings up to 59.2A and DC resistance down to 1.2mΩ for greater efficiency. Their soft saturation characteristics mean that the devices are suitable for VRM/VRD designs and other applications with occasional overcurrent requirements.
