Mini-ITX motherboards offer excellent graphics performance

DFI has announced the arrival of HD171-H81 and HD173-H81, two industrial-grade Mini-ITX motherboards powered by the 4th gen Intel Core with Intel H81 chipset. The Intel HD Graphics engine integrated into these 4th gen Intel Core processors provides a seamless visual experience, including superior gaming image quality, vibrant HD video playback, and increased overall speed and performance.

The two industrial-grade Mini-ITX support three independent displays via DP, DVI-I (DVI-D signal), and VGA. HD171/HD173-H81 is designed with flexible I/O, including two Intel Gigabit LAN ports, four COM ports, nine USB ports, two SATA 3.0 ports, and an 8-bit DIO connector.

The expansion design of the Mini-ITX embedded motherboards also offer additional capabilities for the various demands via PCIe configurations, including a PCIe x16 slot (PCIe 3.0) for high-performance graphics displays, and a Mini PCIe slot that supports USB and PCIe signals, mSATA, and full size Mini PCIe card. HD171-H81 comes with 12VDC-in jack while HD173-H81 is equipped with 19-24VDC-in jack or a 4-pin power connector in order to provide additional options to customers.

With excellent performance in computing and graphics, and rich I/O connectors, HD171/HD173-H81 is suitable for applications such as digital signage, industrial automation, ATM, kiosk, medical equipment and gaming machines.
