SSDs deliver high performance in demanding applications

By combining performance, endurance, and ample storage capacity in a compact PCIe M.2 module, the N3000 range expands Swissbit’s range of storage solutions for the most demanding applications.

Customers in the industrial, NetCom, and automotive sectors benefit from exceptional write performance that requires no active or passive cooling, even at high temperatures. As a result, the N3000 is an excellent choice for fanless and enclosed embedded systems.

For maximum reliability in mission-critical applications, the series is optionally available with “powersafe” power-loss protection technology. The storage capacity for the N3000 with 3D TLC NAND ranges from 240 GB to 3.84 TB.

Swissbit also offers a pseudo-SLC version, the N3602, for greater endurance requirements, allowing for a write load more than 10 times higher. This version will be available in capacities ranging from 80 GB to 320 GB.

For maximum reliability, especially in mission-critical applications, the N3002 and N3602 are available with the enhanced “powersafe” PLP level. The “powersafe” feature secures data in the event of a sudden power failure, even during the transfer from the host to the controller (for dynamic data) or from the DRAM to the NAND (for cached data).

Intelligent energy management in the firmware, combined with the use of reliable tantalum capacitors that store energy during SSD operation, make this feasible.

Temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.

Applications cover networking and communication, edge servers, routers, and switches, industrial, industrial embedded, data logging and boot OS.
