RTI showcases proven communication framework for SDVs

Real-Time Innovations (RTI) will exhibit at Vehicle Electronics & Connected Services (VECS) 2025, held March 18-19th in Gothenburg, Sweden.

At booth #C01:24, RTI will showcase Connext Drive, the proven communication framework for software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

Based on the Data Distribution Service (DDS) standard, Connext Drive enables seamless data sharing across vehicle architectures, decoupling applications from hardware to accelerate development and streamline integration. Trusted by leading OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, Connext Drive supports scalable, safety-certified solutions for E/E architectures, ADAS, and fleet-wide data management. With ASPICE CL1, ISO 21434, and ISO 26262 certifications, it ensures reliability and compliance for next-generation vehicle systems.

At VECS, Tobias Fieger, Global Business Development Manager Automotive at RTI, will present ‘Towards SDV: Decoupling Applications from Hardware with DDS’ on March 19th at 13:20 CET in Track F. This session will explore how DDS allows developers to focus on application logic by abstracting hardware specifics, enabling asynchronous communication, and providing fine-grained control over data delivery, reliability, and latency.

RTI’s automotive experts will also be available to discuss how a data-centric approach simplifies and streamlines next-generation vehicle connectivity. For more information about RTI at VECS or to schedule a meeting with the team, please visit this link.
