Dukosi at electronica with Electronic Specifier

Joe Notaro, Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing of Dukosi, has revealed the Dukosi Cell Monitoring System (DKCMS) for safety critical, next generation battery systems is ready for production, and its adherence to AEC-Q100, meeting the stringent requirements and lifetime expectations of electric vehicles (EV) and stationary battery energy storage systems (BESS).

The Dukosi DK8102 Cell Monitor is designed to deliver accurate, synchronised, on-cell measurements of voltage and temperature. Utilising Dukosi’s proprietary C-SynQ communication protocol, each monitor transmits data to a Dukosi DK8202 System Hub. This is achieved through near-field RF communication via a single bus antenna positioned over the battery pack cells.

The System Hub is typically integrated on the same PCB as the BMS host processor and interfaces with the DKCMS library.

Specifically developed for high-performance batteries, DKCMS has been engineered to prioritise robustness and energy efficiency.
