The Dura-Con Space Grade Micro-Ds are built with twist pin contacts and machined sockets, which are specified in NASA’s EEE-INST-002 standard and offer unparalleled resilience in the most challenging conditions. The integration of M83513 style micro-d connectors, DAP insulators, nickel-plated aluminium shells, and ETFE insulated wires ensures high performance even in space-constrained applications where size and weight are critical factors. Additionally, these components feature low outgassing materials, with levels under 1.0% TML and less than 0.1% CVCM, meeting stringent requirements for space flight applications.
