At embedded world 2024, Reza Kazerounain, President and Co-Founder, and Mark Rootz, Vice President of Marketing at Alif Semiconductor, talks to Electronic Specifier’s Editor, Mick Elliott about how Alif Semiconductor was founded and has progressed as well as the launch of their new product.

Alif Semiconductor launched the Balletto family, a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless microcontroller to feature hardware optimisation for AI/ML workloads, at embedded world 2024.

Packaged in a compact WLCSP, the Balletto MCU enables manufacturers to integrate advanced AI/ML capabilities such as speech recognition, adaptive noise cancellation, vocal targeting, and beamforming into true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds. It also facilitates sensor fusion in lifestyle wristbands and other small-scale devices.
