Belden, the US-based provider of network infrastructure solutions, has partnered with Quantum Security & Defence (QSECDEF) to accelerate the development of quantum-secure networking and critical system resilience.
The collaboration comes as enterprises across sectors such as manufacturing and healthcare face increasingly complex, data-intensive challenges that traditional computing struggles to address. Quantum technologies, which promise to tackle high-stakes, computationally intensive problems, are being seen as a key solution.
QSECDEF, a global body coordinating the quantum-secure supply chain, brings together industry professionals, academics, and engineers to develop procurement standards, certification frameworks, and education initiatives. The aim is to ensure a secure and smooth transition for enterprises adopting quantum networking.
Belden, with its expertise in network infrastructure and cybersecurity, will support QSECDEF’s mission by providing practical pathways for quantum-safe networking and resilient systems. The company’s solutions, designed for reliability and scalability, will underpin the deployment of quantum technologies beyond the research stage.
