Around the show

There are plenty of talks to attend, sights to see, and chats to be had around EDS this year, which is an especially busy one.

A standout session of the event so far has been a talk presented by SheCanEngineer on creating inclusive environments to drive productivity and innovation. It was definitely a timely reminder of how important it is to support and empower women in tech and engineering, and the importance of driving more women and girls into the sector.

The team have identified some key themes that are being highlighted at EDS this year, including:

  • Low power technology applications
  • FPGAs and their uses
  • Battery simulation for the EV industry
  • Interconnect solutions and their versatility

Engineering Design Show

EDS promotes itself as the UK’s only event focused entirely on mechanical, electronics, and embedded system design, with over 200 exhibitors, more than 50 conference sessions, and interactive workshops over the two days.

The event offers a concentrated environment for engineers, product designers, technical managers, and innovators to explore latest components, tools, materials, and emerging trends.

If you’re currently at the show, be sure to pop by Stand K91 to discuss all things Electronic Specifier with the team.
