C2A Security, a context and AI-driven product security orchestration platform addressing the needs of software-defined products and cyber-physical systems, and HARMAN International, an automotive technology and wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, are collaborating to deliver comprehensive security services for the automotive sector.

This collaboration brings together C2A Security’s EVSec platform with HARMAN’s knowledge in Automotive Engineering Services. By combining C2A Security’s product security orchestration platform with HARMAN’s cybersecurity engineering services, automotive customers gain access to a comprehensive solution that supports risk management and regulatory compliance. HARMAN provides the services to deploy, integrate and maximise the value of C2A’s tools, enabling carmakers and Tier 1 suppliers to overcome implementation challenges and accelerate their cybersecurity journey.

“Modern automotive innovation demands unwavering focus on cybersecurity and regulatory compliance,” said Kaushik Banerjee, Vice President and General Manager, Automotive Engineering Services, HARMAN. “Through our collaboration with C2A Security, we now offer a turnkey solution that combines C2A’s AI-driven product security orchestration platform with our proven Automotive Engineering Services capabilities. This empowers our customers to work towards secure, safe and compliant automotive-grade consumer experiences from design to deployment and post-production.”

Together, the companies will work with carmakers to help them address global regulatory challenges. Specifically in the US, they will address compliance with the new US Department of Commerce (DoC) 79D Rule for Connected Vehicles, which entered into force in March 2025. The EVSec platform enables carmakers to evaluate the security of their supply chain for their declaration of conformity submissions and conduct thorough vetting to ensure compliance.

“For more than 70 years now, HARMAN is synonymous with connected experiences in the automotive industry, and I’m excited about this partnership,” said Roy Fridman, CEO of C2A Security. “HARMAN brings unrivalled relationships in the automotive sector and together our partnership delivers the product security innovation needed to keep connected vehicles compliant with regulatory requirements.”
