CETECOM has reached Car Connectivity Consortium Authorized Test Lab status

CETECOM is one of the first Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) Authorized Testing Lab (ATL) officially performing MirrorLink certification testing for vehicle manufacturers, handset manufacturers, systems suppliers and consumer electronics vendors. CETECOM supports the technical evaluation of products seeking CCC certified status.

“We are pleased to have CETECOM join The Car Connectivity Consortium as an Authorized Test Laboratory,” said Alan Ewing, Chairman of CCC Certification Working Group. “The Authorized Test Labs are an important part of the CCC’s mission to provide safe and satisfying end user experience in the integration of smart phones and In Vehicle Infotainment systems.

“Due to the already gained experience in the wireless communications industry, it is the logical consequence to enter this new area of industry by offering MirrorLink™ certification to head unit and handset manufacturers,” says Thorsten Stabenau, Director Corporate Marketing and Sales, CETECOM. “This completes and improves our broad service portfolio towards the industry.”
