The acquisition provides E-Mon a great deal of opportunities. It provides broader resources to pursue sales and operating initiatives and meet the needs of E-Mon’s expanding commercial, industrial and governmental markets. On the technology front, our engineering group is looking forward to collaborating with Honeywell engineers to accelerate new product development. This also presents opportunities for E-Mon to expand its product offering through our nationwide network of reps and distributors to include Honeywell products currently lacking a US channel to the electrical market.
For Honeywell, the scalability of E-Mon’s meter offering is a low-cost entry point to customers that provides the granular data necessary to optimize building automation systems giving Honeywell a more complete energy-efficiency portfolio to a broader customer base.
