More than 750 new aluminium axial, radial and snap-in type capacitors have been added to the RS brand presenting purchasers and design engineers with a cost effective alternative without compromising on quality. The RS devices offer capacitance values from 4.7µF up to 220µF with rated voltages ranging from 6.3Vdc to 63Vdc. RS is also introducing 480 new thick film SMD chip resistors in types 0402, 0603, 0805 and 1206, offering resistance values from 10 ohms.
The introduction of these latest RS Essentials products is the next step in the company’s plans to develop its value priced range according to Chris Page, Electronics General Manager, for RS, “The new RS Essentials products provide our customers with a cost effective alternative to manufacturer brands with the high quality assurance for which RS is renowned. Our range expansion over the coming months will reinforce this message.”
