AUO is now offering LED backlights for the whole industrial display portfolio. As usual the industrial products come with a long term commitment. Available from 5.7” up to 19” the whole range got alternatively to the ccfl models now also LED backlights.

Being the perfect solution for mobile applications the LED models are in average 20% thinner and lighter than the ccfl versions. At the same brightness a LED backlights offers between 20 and 30% power saving.

With integrated LED backlight drivers the daily life becomes more easy and price wise very competitive.

AUO keeps the display interfaces still the same. Lietime of an LED product is also 50k hrs till half brightness.
