Resolve Optics’ range of radiation-resistant lenses

Manufactured to the highest standards using cerium-doped glass, Resolve Optics offers a range of fixed focus, radiation-resistant lenses designed to endure radiation exposure of up to 100 kGy (100 million rads) and temperatures as high as 55°C without suffering discolouration.

The Model 214 non-browning lens, with a 6mm focal length, delivers exceptional image quality with minimal geometric distortion. Key features include its 85-degree field of view and adjustable iris, ranging from f/2 to f/16. This lens is optimised for 2/3-inch cameras, offering high performance in demanding environments.

Similarly, the 9mm focal length Model 286 non-browning lens provides excellent image resolution and minimal distortion across a spectral range of 400-750 nm. This robust lens, specifically designed for radiation-resistant tube and CMOS cameras, also features an adjustable iris from f/2 to f/16.

For low-light conditions, the Model 313, a 25mm fixed focus radiation-resistant lens, is equipped with a large f/1.4 aperture to maximise light collection. It also features an adjustable iris to control light intake when necessary, ensuring high image clarity even in radiation-exposed, low-light environments.

Building on these established fixed focus designs, Resolve Optics can swiftly develop custom radiation-resistant lenses, tailored to optimise the performance of your camera or sensor for specific applications.
