AAEON, manufacturer of advanced industrial and embedded computing platforms, has become a member of the IQRF Alliance.

As part of the Alliance, AAEON will have the opportunity to create a versatile IoT gateway, by supporting another RF technology that is increasingly used in different markets including smart cities, smart buildings, Industry 4.0 and smart energy. As a result of the integration of an IQRF wireless solution in an UP IoT gateway, it offers a plug-and-play application with a secure wireless communication IoT gateway and IQMESH network protocol.

“We are very happy to be invited to join IQRF Alliance. AAEON’s mission is to spread the intelligence into an interconnected world of things. IQRF is an innovative platform that delivers a seamless integration of wireless connectivity in different scenarios such industrial automation, intelligent home and smart city. It’s a perfect complementary solution for our gateway and edge devices,” said Fabrizio Del Maffeo, Managing Director of AAEON and UP Founder.

IQRF alliance is a complete ecosystem leveraging the international community of developers, manufactures, system integrators, universities and sales professionals in Internet of Things and M2M solutions. Customers can easily achieve an interoperable end-to-end solution needed in their target applications, from sensor devices and IoT gateway to Cloud data analytics.
