Voltage-controlled current source is depicted on the Figure 1.

Here current iO is a function of the other circuit values. io=f(vin)=gvin, then  vo=Routio=Routgvin and vovin=Routgg is a gain of our circuit.

Let’s represent vin and vout as resistance multiplied with current: RoutIout=RinIingRout, then IoutIin=gRin.

Pout=VoutIout=Routg2Vin RinIin, Pin=VinIin,

then PoutPin=g2RinRout.
