Ultrasonic Wind Sensors Displayed at AMS 2010

Gill Instruments Ltd, a leader in ultrasonic wind measurement technology, will exhibit their extensive product range at the AMS Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA, USA on 17 – 21 January 2010. The product range on display will include Gill’s popular 2-axis and 3-axis ultrasonic anemometers and weather station, with a live demonstration of the low-cost WindSonic anemometer.
Gill recently announced a number of new product developments on the horizon during 2010, with new versions of the WindSonic Anemometer and MetPak compact weather station due for launch early in the year. Gill Instruments technical sales engineers will be on-hand at the AMS show to discuss the new developments in more detail.

The Gill WindSonic anemometer has become the benchmark for low-cost ultrasonic wind measurement technology, offering all of the benefits of this advanced measurement technique at an affordable price. The new variant of the WindSonic is due to incorporate further enhancements to allow use in a broader range of applications and environments.

The Gill MetPak is a compact, multi-sensor weather station, offering advanced measurement of the most essential weather station parameters. The new version of the MetPak will incorporate additional sensors to enhance the functionality of the weather station, allowing for use in a number of different applications.
