The Multipro Copper 6MHz is Trend Communications answer to the need for a highly affordable fully featured ADSL2+ Copper test solution. While most ADSL2+ test solutions will allow testing up to 2.2MHz, the Multipro Copper 6MHz supports testing beyond this up to 6MHz. An ADSL2+ system will attempt to operate over a spectrum 2.2MHz wide, most testers will only test across this frequency range, however there are can be powerful sources of noise at higher frequencies which can have an impact on the performance of the ADSL2+ installation.

The Multipro Copper 6MHz is able to perform a G-Filter test?, this is a wide spectrum noise test which will identify and characterise the effects of these noise sources on the possible performance of an ADSL2+ service. This enhanced functionality adds value as a test solution for installers and service operators intent on providing a customer with service that is of high performance, quality and reliability.

The Multipro Copper 6MHz is able to perform the same advanced copper testing as the Multipro Copper 30MHz. This includes the measurement of Complex Characteristic Impedance, Cross talk, Noise and Frequency response test, additional test functionality is provided by the TDR, DMM and Oscilloscope test functions. Multipro Copper 6MHz is also fully capable of operating in conjunction with the Trend Transponder making advanced dual ended ADSL2+ testing highly affordable. Both the Multipro Copper 6MHz and the 30 MHz make available to the user a set of tools within each test which simplify and enhance the usability of the test solution to save time and costs for installers and service providers.
