Advantech-DLoG is proud to announce the addition of a new, protective I/O coverplate to its award winning TREK-753, all-in-one 7” mobile data terminal. The TREK-753, a great choice for long haul trucking, law enforcement, ambulances, fire trucks, and heavy duty vehicle applications has been made even more robust with the addition of a protective coverplate. Serving more than just fleet management applications, TREK-753 is also a high ROI solution for hazardous environments faced by off-road vehicles in industries such as mining, construction and agriculture. The Intel Atom Z510PT/Z520PT processor, industrial-grade chassis, ability to operate in a wide range of temperatures, and connectivity options make the TREK-753 a true powerhouse. TREK-753 is IP54-certified for protection from water and dust, and the new I/O cover protects I/O openings and cable ends as well. The cover is easy to assemble, with a solid rubber seal that fits snugly up to the housing. Cables are protected and organized at the base of the unit, without changing the space required for the device. System integrators can easily install the TREK-753 with no customization required.

Dust- and Water- Resistant with an IP54 Certification

TREK-753 has an IP54-rating which certifies protection against water and dust. The I/O cover extends this protection to cable attachments and connectors. This allows the system to operate in wet or dirty environments where spray from water or dust churned up from the road might otherwise cripple computer equipment. Off-road applications such as open-pit mining, or tractors and other farming vehicles can rely on the ruggedprotection offered by TREK-753.
