Signal generator addresses 5G, 6G satcoms testing

A four-channel vector signal generator, with frequency up to 54 GHz that offers up to 5 GHz of radio frequency (RF) bandwidth and low phase noise in a single instrument has been unveiled by Keysight Technologies.

This expansion to the company’s VXG series has been developed for demanding wireless industry applications which use a wide range of frequencies up to and including millimetre wave (mmWave) spectrum. These include new 5G mobile communications, 6G research, satellite communications and radar applications.

Maximum speed for end-of-line programming and testing

High-speed programming and testing are supported by the high-speed Flash programming devices using the latest automotive ethernet standards 1000Base T1/100Base T1 or fast USB3.

“Our XDM-ETH module in combination with the ProMik bootloader technology is the most powerful end-of-line programming tool in terms of Flash programming speed as well as cyber security and test functionality,” says Jens Rosenberger, Marketing Manager at ProMik Programmiersysteme für die Mikroelektronik GmbH

Both the XDM-ETH as well as the XDM-USB module from ProMik ensure the lowest production costs for sophisticated applications that include MCU, NAND and NOR memory with high density.
