Tester automates measurement of coherent receiver performance parameters
The testing capability of Coherent Solutions communications test product portfolio has been enhanced by the CoRx-Tester. The CoRx-Tester provides automated measurement of key coherent receiver performance parameters specified by OIF. CoRx-Tester hardware consists of Tuneable Lasers, Variable Optical Attenuator and Polarisation controller configured in the flexible MTP-1000 modular test platform.
The CoRx-Tester software automates the hardware control and data acquisition so that users get reliable and repeatable measurement of parameters such as S21, channel skew and gain imbalance at the click of a button.
CoRx-Tester will save time and effort for coherent network equipment production test engineers and provide accurate calibration information of the coherent receiver hardware to those working in R&D.
