Technical Web Seminar: Keithley Shares Free Advice on How to Perform Photovoltaic Measurements

Keithley Instruments will broadcast a free web-based seminar titled “Photovoltaic Measurements: Testing the Electrical Properties of Today’s Solar Cells” on Wednesday, December 10, at 15:00 Central European Time (CET). For detailed seminar information and to register, visit http://www.keithley.info/solarcelltest-webseminar.

During the 45-minute seminar, Keithley expert Chris Armstrong will give an overview of the electrical measurements of photovoltaic development from basic research to early production. He will be exploring the physical measurements made as well as the theory and cell properties that can be inferred from the results.

Aimed at researchers, engineers, and materials scientists developing solar/photovoltaic applications who need a better understanding of solar cell test methods, the webinar will encompass Capacitance-Voltage characterization and Current-Voltage characterization including DC and pulse techniques as well as common measurements of a cell’s efficiency.

Attendants of the live broadcast will have an opportunity to ask the presenter for additional insight during an interactive Q&A session.
