When configured for strain gauges, switchable bridge completion for 120Ohm, 350Ohm, and 1000Ohm quarter bridges; bridge excitation from 0.25V to 10V; and software-implemented data correction ensure accurate strain data.
In addition, programmable anti-aliasing filtering and sample rates up to 1,000 samples/second guarantee data integrity. Up to 16 System 8000 units can be connected into one 128-channel system. Micro-Measurements’ StrainSmart software allows for quick and easy setup, data capture, and export while RJ-45 crimp connectors enable complete installation and test setup in minutes, not hours.
Also on show will be the Model D4 Data Acquisition Conditioner. This small, portable, USB-powered conditioner can accept full-, half-, and quarter-bridge 120Ohm, 350Ohm, and 1000Ohm inputs directly. With sample rates of up to eight samples/second and the ability to connect eight units simultaneously, the strain gauge system is a fully functioning instrument where simple and fast test setups are required.
