SysNucleus USBTrace is a software-based USB protocol analyzing tool. The tool helps USB firmware, device driver developers and test engineers to sniff the USB bus during the device development stage. USB requests passing through various layers of the USB device stack are captured and displayed in easily readable format.
The tool helps to shorten the length of debugging/test sessions. In addition to capturing and decoding standard USB requests, USBTrace also captures requests defined for various USB device classes (HID, Hub, Mass Storage, Video, Bluetooth etc). Detailed device performance analysis is also provided.

The latest version of USBTrace has support to capture and decode the Wireless USB (WUSB) 'Host Wire Adapter (HWA)' class. This will be useful for all engineers who are responsible for developing WUSB HWA devices. The HWA is a USB 2.0 device which is used to enable WUSB in legacy systems (laptops/dektops).

USBTrace supports both USB 1.x & 2.0 (low, full and high speed) USB host controllers, hubs and devices and works with both 32bit and 64bit editions of Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, 2003 Server and Vista operating systems.
