“Innovations in Carrier Ethernet have come a long way as service providers prepare to deliver multiplay services across integrated packet networks,” said Carsten Rossenhövel, Managing Director of EANTC AG. “By working with companies such as Spirent, we help establish benchmarks to validate the performance and interoperability of multi-vendor Carrier Ethernet solutions.”
During the interoperability event, Spirent TestCenter ™ along with Spirent XGEM enabled the participants to determine if the latest Carrier Ethernet innovations can support carrier class managed Ethernet services. Spirent TestCenter is an integrated Layer 2- 7 test system designed to deliver enhanced application realism, performance and scalability testing.
“Our continued participation in next generation public tests such as those conducted by EANTC, underscores our ability to truly put innovation to the test,” said Tamer Abbas, director of Corporate Marketing at Spirent.
Frost & Sullivan’s recent study “World Gigabit Ethernet Test Equipment Market” recognized Spirent as the leader in 1G and 10G Ethernet test market.
