The move is a response to a skills shortages which Oren Hagai, Interlligent President and Chief Technology Officer describes as “one of the biggest challenges facing the industry today.”
He cites the wireless communications, 5G, IoT and the connected car as technologies driving companies without a RF background to source these skills. “RF for non-RF engineers,” is how Hagai describes Interlligent’s approach.
“There is a gap in the market,” Hagai asserts. “Companies either offer test equipment or training courses, but not both. We will be able to help identify their test and measurement challenges, and supply the best solution, not just the equipment but accessories and focused training, backed up by ongoing support and service.”
Interlligent will deploy three full time engineers to the courses with two more in support. “They are in regular contact with research and development teams in the key technologies and are familiar with a wide range of applications.”
Interlligent holds a wide range of RF test equipment which is available for rental or sale and enables a company to minimise its capital outlay.
Says Hagai, “Our philosophy is to provide not just a box, but an integrated resource package that includes test equipment, training and technical support. We will foster an ongoing relationship that continues to fulfil their resourcing needs.”
