Rohde & Schwarz sets benchmark for network monitoring

Rohde & Schwarz is expanding its existing private networks testing portfolio with the launch of the R&S LCM Network Performance Monitoring Probe.

It provides real-time, reliable, and comprehensive network performance insights, enabling network operators to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact business.

R&S LCM combines a powerful Linux computer with a high-performance 4G/5G IoT/eMBB data module, all within a compact and robust design.

The integrated R&S QualiProbe software, leveraging more than a decade of network performance expertise, provides what Rohde and Schwarz describes as unparalleled insights into service quality measurements, ensuring accurate and reliable data analysis.

R&S LCM offers a comprehensive service quality monitoring solution for critical mobile networks, offering a unified view of mobile network performance through local control of a single unit or remote control of multiple units via the SmartMonitor server.

“We are setting a new benchmark for network performance monitoring with R&S LCM, enabling our customers to ensure the reliability and quality of their business-critical networks and unlock the full potential of 5G and IoT technologies,” Axel Hansmann, Vice President Mobile Network Testing, Rohde & Schwarz, explains. “With R&S LCM, network operators and providers of wireless network infrastructure can achieve a superior and sustainable performance, ensuring reliable private network operation, and gain trust in 5G as a reliable communication system for business-critical use cases.”
