Renesas Technology Europe confirms outstanding EMC performance of microcontroller families with Langer EMV-Technik GmbH
Renesas Technology Europe announced today that the outstanding electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance of its H8, R8C and SuperH microcontroller families has been confirmed by the independent testing company Langer EMV-Technik GmbH. According to its own immunity levels appreciation, Langer EMV-Technik commented that the Renesas MCUs were rated very highly with almost all pins being able to withstand bursts of 480V. Renesas MCUs' good EMC performance helps reduce development costs, as the microcontroller no longer needs to be protected by a specific transient voltage surge suppressor or an expensive multilayer ceramic capacitor.One
