Both FlexRay nodes are cold-start capable. In addition to starting a FlexRay cluster, the functional range includes cyclical and event based sending of messages. The interface module’s firmware provides an automatic CRC checksum calculation as well as generation of “alive counters” and “ramp functions”.
The AUTOSAR network management and the transport protocol generation compliant with ISO 10681-2 and AUTOSAR FlexRay-TP are also supported.
