Oscilloscope enhances signal analysis performance

The PicoScope 6428E-D oscilloscope from Pico Technology is now being shipped by authorised distributor Mouser Electronics.

Designed for users needing to capture, measure and analyse sub-nanosecond waveforms with critical precision, the PicoScope 6428E-D features four channels with four selectable input ranges (±50 mV, ±100 mV, ±200 mV, ±500 mV), a bandwidth up to 3 GHz, 100 ps time resolution and 4-gigasamples of buffer memory.

The PicoSDK (software development kit) provides drivers for Windows, macOS, and Linux as well as support code for external packages such as LabView and  MathWorks.

It also provides the capability to support the synchronizing of multiple units, through the 10 MHz input or aux trigger input. The PicoScope 6428E-D oscilloscope also features streaming mode, allowing for continuous data capture directly to a PC with the capture size limited only by the available storage.

This makes it an ideal tool for system integration applications and original equipment manufacturers.

Applications for the PicoScope 6428E-D include high-energy physics, particle accelerators, light detection and ranging (LIDAR), velocity-interferometer systems for any reflector (VISAR), spectroscopy, and medical imaging.
