Ophir Photonics Group Releases 2011 Catalog for Laser Measurement Applications

Ophir Photonics today announced the release of its 2011 Laser Measurement Catalog. The catalog covers a wide range of laser power/energy sensors and meters, and laser beam profiling systems for industrial, defense, medical, and research applications. Designed as a green PDF-formatted reference book, the catalog includes tutorials, product data sheets, and technology user guides. The 2011 Catalog also provides an overview of the company’s new Sensor Finder software application; it helps users find the best power/energy sensor that is guaranteed to work with their laser under the stated conditions

The 2011 Ophir Photonics Group Laser Measurement Catalog is available in multiple editions. The whole catalog covers all laser sensor, meter, and profiling products. Individual catalogs can be downloaded for specific product types: Power/Energy Laser Sensors PDF, Power/Energy Laser Meters PDF, and Laser Beam Profilers PDF. The catalog highlights Ophir’s newest product announcements, including BeamGage™ laser beam analysis software with support for high speed GigE cameras, Thermal Laser Power Meters featuring a new high efficiency design that provides better uniformity and longer lifetimes, the 3A-P-THz power/energy sensor for measuring terahertz wavelengths, and the industry’s first Shock Absorber for laser power/energy sensors.

The 2011 Ophir Photonics Group Laser Measurement Catalog covers the entire range of state-of-the-art measurement products available from Ophir, Spiricon, and Photon. Products are organized into three categories:

* Power/Energy Sensors: including thermal, pyroelectric, and photodiode sensors, as well as an array of OEM devices that can be tailored to fit specific requirements

* Power Meters: including the Vega, Nova II, LaserStar, and Nova power meters; the Juno and Pulsar USB PC interfaces, the Quasar wireless PC interface; and StarLab, StarCom, and LabVIEW® software solutions

* Laser Beam Profilers: scientific and industrial systems, including BeamGage camera-based profilers, NanoScan scanning-slit profilers, ModeCheck high power CO2 laser profilers, and goniometric radiometers for far field profiling
