Livingston’s new rental agreement with Agilent

Livingston has announced a rental agreement with Agilent, which came into effect this spring. The agreement is seen as an opportunity to increase Livingston’s footprint globally, and further their continued expansion into the RF, microwave, aerospace and defence markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Based in London, Livingston has been in the electronic test and measurement equipment business for over forty years, providing solutions and services to over a hundred countries, and was looking for a strong test company to open new business opportunities. Agilent, recognised worldwide as a premier measurement company, envisions business growth and increased customer satisfaction by working with Livingston and their added value financial services in EMEA.

Livingston’s CEO, Mel Porter says, “With Livingston being an established major presence in the European and global markets, Agilent felt that there was significant value in working together. This is a positive move forward for both companies to increase their market share and provide further benefits to customers.”

As part of Livingston’s expansion strategy, Luc Vandessel joined the company this February to help spearhead the drive into the aerospace and defence markets in Europe. Formerly with Telogy, Luc has 15 year’s experience in the test and measurement industry.

Mel Porter says,“Livingston is making further investments in people and resources, and in collaboration with Agilent, we are increasing our emphasis and focus on a larger share of the worldwide market.”

Livingston specialises in test and measurement equipment management and logistics, providing a wide range of cost-effective, minimised risk, flexible rental and leasing solutions. The rental agreement with Agilent will increase the business development possibilities for both companies, and will enable Livingston to offer more of the best equipment available, plus an increased range of financial options and solutions, enabling their customers to meet the challenges of the current economic climate.
