AOI import option cuts test program generation time
The AOI systems of GOEPEL electronics now offer an import option for test programs of other system providers. The conversion shortens time for generation of test programs significantly compared to the use of CAD and pick & place data. This process is underpinned by the extensive AOI component library of the systems.
In addition to the high degree of completeness, IC devices can be inspected from different viewing directions.
According to the respective layout situation on the module, shadows caused by adjacent components can be prevented. Furthermore, GOEPEL electronics provides extensive support regarding test program generation/optimisation and production monitoring for customers with AOI systems from other system providers.
The AOI systems can be used for the automatic inspection of PCBs both before and after the soldering process.
Depending on the specific application and requirements in quality assurance in PCB manufacturing, stand-alone and inline versions are available. The modularity and flexibility of the systems allows optimal adaption to the manufacturing-specific circumstances of the particular production process. Notable features are the 360° inspection and the unique multispectral illumination.
