The gap analysis audit focuses on finding shortfalls in an organisation’s requirements, design, code, test, quality assurance and configuration management processes. In addition, the report assesses shortfalls between current compliance requirements and those required by DO-178B/C, DO-254, ARP-4754A, IEC 61508, FDA PMA and 510(k), and ISO 26262 standards.
As a result of collecting this data, the Global Services Group provides companies with a cost estimate for closing each of the identified gaps, and identifies the top twenty risks organizations face as a result of gaps, and how to mitigate each one. All improvement recommendations are based upon best-practices within comparable software development organisations.
“We’re excited about the value gap analysis services bring to our clients”, saidVance Hilderman, Director of Global Services, “once we identify where the opportunities lie inside the software development process, challenges like meeting tight time-to-market windows within strict budgets are much easier to overcome. And our gap analysis is incredibly cost-effective. The payback is immediate and more than covers the relatively low cost of our team coming onsite for 2-3 days, versus spending time off-site assessing gaps, risks, and best practice correlation.”
