Mini Optical Light Source Features Stable Output Power

GAO Fiber Optics recommends its mini optical light source featuring highly stable and accurate output power and wavelength. It combines high performance with durability in a handy, small-sized package. The handheld light source is specially designed for use in telecommunication and CATV testing and maintenance as well as for use with fiber optics systems. It is available for both single-mode fiber and for multi-mode fibers. GAO Fiber Optics’ mini optical light source, model 08221, utilizes an FP-LD emitter and operates over the wavelength range of 1330nm to 1550nm.

It is light in weight, easy-to-use and cost-effective. It includes an optional loss test kit. When used in conjunction with 08112 mini optical power meter, the optical light source provides an efficient testing solution for field work in fiber optic networks. The mini light source works continuously for forty hours using three 1.5V alkaline batteries.
