The mixed signal versions of Rigol Technologies DS2000A and DS1000Z oscilloscopes are now available. The instruments now enable easier configuration thanks to the addition of a multilingual user interface. The digital oscilloscopes detect signal and device characteristics with comprehensive trigger functions, and advanced hardware based real time waveform records, replay, search and analysis functions.

The new multilingual user interface allows easy configuration of the oscilloscopes in the local language. These additions will help engineers reduce test time in research, development and failure analysis applications, says Rigol.

The analogue specs are similar to the existing DS1000Z and DS2000A devices, but were extended by 16 digital MSO logic analyser channels. The sample rate is 1 GS/s for 8 DIOs and 500MS/s for 16 DIOs. The wfrm/s waveform capture rate along with the 256 level intensity grading 8” display enables you to quickly identify infrequent events. Trigger functions include Runt, Setuphold, Windows, Nth Edge, etc. and automatic measurements with statistics. These digital oscilloscopes feature serial bus trigger and decodes such as I2C, SPI, RS232, CAN Bus (MSO DS2000A) as well as advanced math functions.

With the optional built-in 2-channel 25MHz Arbitrary Waveform Generator it is easy to download acquired data and run for stimulation directly out of this built-in generator for specific test solutions. Rigol also offers a variety of active and passive probes and other accessories in their product range.

Designed to meet the requirements of R&D engineers, production test engineers and advanced researchers, the oscilloscopes are designed for applications in the communications, aerospace/defence, research and education, industrial and consumer electronics, computing and instrumentation industries.
