Anritsu Company introduces Line Sweep Tools, a PC-based software tool for its handheld instruments that allows network operators to quickly capture, validate, and generate reports using antenna, cable, and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) sweeps. Line Sweep Tools can be used by field engineers and technicians to help ensure accurate and timely measurement reporting.
Line Sweep Tools is a part of the Anritsu Tool Box and provides users with a number of time-saving capabilities. It collects sweeps from Anritsu handheld instruments and helps verify that those sweeps are done properly. It also helps create reports of the findings quickly and to a professional standard.

The Line Sweep Tools user interface is simple to operate. Users can experience considerable time savings with Line Sweep Tools, as it includes presets for markers and limit lines that make report preparation faster and easier. A Report Generator simplifies creating PDF reports for multiple traces. Renaming files, titles, and subtitles is much quicker and error free, due to a naming grid.

Line Sweep Tools can open DAT or VNA files from a wide range of current and supported Anritsu handheld instruments. It can also open PIM files generated by PIM measurements. Other software tools included in the Tool Box include Master Software Tools (MST) and Map Master.

The Tool Box with Line Sweep Tools is included with every Anritsu RF and microwave handheld analyzer that has line sweeps or PIM testing as a standard feature. Current users can download the software for free from www.anritsu.com.

Handheld analyzers series in which the Tool Box with Line Sweep Tools can be used are:

* Site Master™ - Cable and antenna analyzers that accurately locate and identify cable and antenna system faults from 2 MHz to 20 GHz.
* Spectrum Master™ - The most ultra-portable 7.1 GHz, 13 GHz, and 20 GHz spectrum analyzers on the market.
