Agilent Technologies Introduces Computer-Based Resource Center for Oscilloscope Probes

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced a free computer-based resource center to help engineers quickly find relevant documentation and other information on Agilent oscilloscope probes. Hardcopy manuals often are misplaced or discarded, making it difficult for engineers to find documentation when they need it. The Agilent Probe Resource Center solves this problem. The software application contains manuals, application notes, data sheets, selection guides, demo videos, industry-standard SPICE (Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis) models, and more for Agilent oscilloscope probes. The application lets engineers efficiently browse or search for the information they need in one easy-to-access location on their computer.

The content of the Agilent Probe Resource Center is structured by probe model numbers, by probe type (current, differential, single-ended, etc.), and by oscilloscope compatibility, which makes it easy for engineers to find the information they need quickly.

Engineers can download the Probe Resource Center to their computer or Windows®-based oscilloscope desktop. The application automatically searches for updates when opened and notifies users when new content is available. Agilent also plans to release a Web-based version of the Probe Resource Center.
