Now in stock at Digi-Key Electronics is Amphenol Advanced Sensors’ T9501 harsh-environment temperature and humidity sensor.

It is IP67-rated, meaning that is completely protected against the ingress of dust and airborne particles, as well as water and liquids, up to and including immersion in up to one meter of water.

The design is based on Amphenol Advanced Sensors’ capacitive polymer sensor chip and ASIC, integrated into an easy-mount OEM package as two external mounting tabs are moulded into the sensor’s enclosure and can be easily attached utilising two #10/M5 bolts/screws (or equivalent).

The T9501 measures temperature utilising an onboard proportional-to-absolute temperature sensor.

Each sensor is individually calibrated and tested at the factory prior to shipping.

As a result, the T9501 arrives ready to install without further calibration or temperature compensation.

The T9501 is rated for operating conditions of -30°C to + 70°C and 0% to 100% relative humidity (non-condensing).

The temperature and humidity sensor is precise and accurate and is rated for ±2% RH at 20% to 80% and ±0.5°C temperature accuracy at 14 bits.

The sensor is provided with varying lengths of cable (depending on the model number, refer to the ordering information for more details) and a Deutsch sensor connector housing is standard.

Sensor output is Modbus digital RS485-configurable, with a 115,200 baud-rate (with fault-protection).

It is powered with an 8 VDC to 32 VDC (12 VDC) power supply with polarity protection.

The sensor has a low-power consumption of <10 mA average when in bus Rx-mode, and peaks at 70 mA when in bus Rx-mode/heat.

It is provided with a 12-month factory warranty.

The sensor is now available from Digi-Key in the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions
