These gas detectors quickly detect leakages and unexpected emissions of refrigerants used in HVAC systems, chillers and heat pumps, refrigeration systems, data centres, manufacturing and industrial facilities, and cold chain logistics.
The gas detectors are UL60335-2-40 and IEC60335-2-40 certified, supporting new regulations aimed at reducing the global warming potential (GWP) associated with emissions of refrigerants used in air conditioners and heat pumps.
They include detectors for flammable (A3, A2, and A2L) and non-flammable (A1) refrigerants, including R32, R454B, R454C, R290 (propane), R1270 (propylene), and R744 (carbon dioxide).
The refrigerant infrared gas detectors deliver fail-safe operation, are immune to poisoning, and feature enhanced EMC protection to maintain accuracy in challenging environmental applications.
Each refrigerant infrared gas detector contains all the necessary optics, electronics, and firmware to provide a linearized, temperature-compensated output. An IP68-rated USB-C™ connector allows for off-the-shelf cabling options.
